Printed document, calling the Jews of France and Italy to identify with the French Nation and be loyal to Napoleon: "Jews, you live amongst a generous and sensitive nation. In order to identify with and gain the appreciation of this nation – no sacrifice is exaggerated. Teach your children to be laborious and efficient citizens, integrate them in agriculture, develop their intelligence through the public schooling system, and encourage their solidarity with young French of a different religion". It is possible that this document was written by Abraham Furtado (1756-1817) – President of the Committee of Jewish Dignitaries during Napoleon's Period ("Paris Sanhedrin") and the treasurer of Bordeaux municipality. 4 pp, 25 cm.
