Decree issued by the Archbishop of Cologne granting patronage to several Jews in his province. The decree specifies the names of the Jews and states that "every civil servant, judge, geologist, governor…has to leave these Jews in peace and let them grow pets and food…" Includes a version of a decree regarding the same matter of March 1723. 8 pp, 30 cm. Good condition. Stains, leaves partly detached.
