Collection of Posters – Palestine Liberation Organization
21 political posters concerning the rights of the Palestinian people. Most posters printed by PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization) and by communist-Palestinian movements. ca. 1980s. Arabic, English and French.
Most of the posters were printed in France, where an official PLO office has been established. The posters call for the liberation of Palestine and Palestinian prisoners and most of them feature the portrait of Yasser Arafat. Some posters relate to the Intifada and the Lebanon War and portray disturbing scenes of Palestinian casualties. Sizes and conditions vary. Generally - in good condition.
