First Civil Guard in Tel-Aviv, late 1930s

Six group photographs of male and female volunteers of the first Civil Guard of Tel-Aviv, [ca. 1938].
Four photos are mounted on cardboard with a label "HaShachar" studio; the photographed wear arm bands with the writing A.R.P./ Supervisor / Civil Guard. The Civil Guard was established as an organization to secure order and civil guard in the city of Tel-Aviv during WW II and during the 1948 war. Four photos 12X17 cm, two photos 8.5X13.5 cm. Good condition. Minor damages to one photo and to cardboard boards.
