News-Leaf Regarding the Arrest of Jews – Amsterdam – July 1942
Single leaf, special announcement issued by the paper of the Amsterdam Jewish community, Het Joodsche Weekblad. Amsterdam, July 14, 1942. Dutch.
A special announcement stating "Today 700 Jews were arrested in Amsterdam" and that Jews are being deported from Amsterdam to concentration and labor camps in Germany. Holland was occupied in May 1940; in 1941 severe restrictions were imposed on the Jews and they were gathered in Amsterdam; in 1942 Jews have been deported to concentration and extermination camps.
