Letter “on behalf of Va’ad Ha’hatzala”, regarding support of institutions.
The Rebbe Rabbi Yissachar Ber HaLevi Rotenberg of Vidislav (1906-1987, Encyclopedia of Hassidism II, p. 485-486), descendant of the Apta dynasty, son after son to Rabbi Meir Rotenberg of Apta author of "Ohr LaShamayim". Disciple of Rabbi Meir Shapiro of Lublin. During his twenties was appointed as rabbi of the town of Vidislav, Poland. In 1939 he departed to London to visit his father-in-law and did not return to Poland due to the outbreak of the war. From England he moved to the USA, established his Beit Midrash in Brooklyn and served as Rebbe of Vidislav. Was closely associated with the Rebbe of Satmar and headed the Associations of Rabbis in the USA.
