Rabbi Eliezer Horowitz (died in 1806, Encyclopedia of Hassidism, I, 257-259), Av Beit Din of Tar, Nógrád. Descendant of the Shla, disciple of Rabbi Yechiel Michel of Zlotshov and Rabbi Elimelech of Lizhensk. Studied with the Seer of Lublin and the Maggid of Koznitz. Author of "No’am Megadim" and Kvod HaTora". Died and was buried in Koznitz, after visiting the city and saying: "This is a proper city for burial"
Signatures and various ownership notations, majority by Ga’on Rabbi Yisrael HaLevi Weintraub, rabbinical authority on Bravarna Street in Warsaw (author of book "Geresh Carmel", on Rashi commentary on the Chumash, Warsaw, 1885).
