Sisters Mayer - Collection of Photographs

Eleven photographs taken by the sisters Charlotte and Gerda Mayer, 1930s to the 1950s. Craftsmen and workers; a ship in the port of Haifa; meeting of the Haifa Chamber of Commerce on April 8 1938; buying the lands of Kibbutz HaZore'a; Abdalla the First, King of Jordan, with British dignitaries; David Ben-Gurion delivering a speech at a graduation ceremony in the Technion, and more. All of the photographs are signed with the photographers' ink-stamp except for one; two photographs are handsigned as well, some are annotated. Average size 12.5X17.5 cm. Goof condition in general. Stains or minor tears to some of the photographs; a missing corner.
