Letter of recommendation for hachnasat kalla, signed by the heads of the Hildesheim (Germany) community and the rabbi of the city Rabbi Moshe Meshil. Hildesheim, 1812.
"This womanג€¦ wife of the blind man Rabbi Itzik Levi, who lives on the mountain near our community Hildesheimג€¦ And when Yitzchak aged his eyes darkened from seeing (quote from Bereshit) these past ten yearsג€¦ and he is marrying off his mature daughterג€¦ and Yitzchak beseeched in the presence of his wifeג€¦ and to assist in this mitzvah of hachnasat kallaג€¦".
