Extra large format Chevra Kadisha registry. [Hungary, early twentieth century].
Illustrated colorful title page with names of supervisors and managers of association. Contains listing of names and details of individuals who contributed to the Chevra Kadisha in order that Kaddish be recited for them. Records from the years 1816 until 1916 (apparently, the records from the early 19th century were copied into the registry at a later period).
Thirty-four pages (apparently missing 6 leaves in middle). 49 cm. Good condition, stains. Restored binding combined with original leather binding.
