Lot 273

Sermon Manuscript - 1802-1808

Manuscript, Halachic and Aggadic sermons for Festivals, Shabbat Shuva, Shabbat Hagadol, Moshe Rabbeinu's Yahrzeit and more. 1802-1808.
Autographic writing by the rabbi who delivered the sermons, who apparently was the town's rabbi [most communities had sermons during Shabbat Hagadol and Shabbat Shuva; the town's rabbi had to deliver those sermons, not the "Maggid Meisharim"], the author mentions various details from the town's daily life. He also mentions the name of the town twice but we were unable to properly decipher it.
Approx 112 written leaves. Approx. 21 cm. Good-fair condition, stains and moth holes. New, semi-parchment binding.
