Ein Ya'akov - Many Glosses
Sefer Ein Ya'akov, third section, Bava Kama - Uktzin. Chernovtsy, 1852. Dozens of lengthy glosses of Mussar and philosophical content in explanation of Aggadot Chazal. End paper contains many signatures and notations in foreign language.
Apparently, the glosses of Rabbi Pinchas Borstein (1829-1906), Av Beit Din of Seret and the surrounding regions (Bukovina). Mentioned many times in the books of the author of the "Sho'el U'Meishiv", who was his cousin. Participated in the establishment of "Machzikei HaDat" in Lvov. [For his history: Rabbi Moshe Leiter, "Sinai" collection, 123, p. 56-60. His glosses on Tractate Pesachim were printed in the collection "Zechor LeAvraham", 2002-2003, p. 313].
