Ancient stamps of "Beit Midrash of Rabbi Yechiel Wallach" [ancient Kloiz in Altona-Hamburg]. Signatures and ownership notations of Rabbi "Hertz Shayer" from the family of Rabbi "Bendit Shayer", from period of the printing.
[282], 69 leaves. 21 cm. High quality blue paper, good condition, some wear, minor stains and single moth holes. Gold paper cut. Fine original leather binding, with restoration of spine.
Rare edition. This tractate was not included in the list of single tractates of the Amsterdam printings in "article on printing of the Talmud". (Until today no additional complete copy of this edition is known. See Bibliography Institute CD record 0320460 in which an incomplete copy of [282], 64 leaves appears, and in record 0320458 a different incomplete copy of [282]; [68] leaves appears).
