Works Made from Olive Wood - Jerusalem - The Western Wall
Two souvenirs of Jerusalem made of olive wood. End of 19th century.
Octagonal olive wood box. On upper part, nice wood-settings, engraving of the Western Wall and cypress trees and printings "Jerusalem", "Yerushalayim", "Western Wall". Cushioned in fabric lining and covered with delicate light-blue fabric. Height: 10 cm, width: 20.5 cm, depth: 14 cm. Good condition. Cracks to several panels. Damage to fabric lining.
Olive wood plate with an engraving of the Western Wall and prints "Jerusalem" and "The Western Wall". Signed M. A. General size 13x11 cm. Good condition. Wide crack.
