Report by a French Delegation to Saxony - Dresden, 1843

Handwritten report, composed by a member of the French Delegation to Saxony (Legation de France eu Saxe). Dresden, March 1843.
Describes in detail the events in the assembly, the second session of which dealt with the status of Jews: the member reports that the Jews suffer from humiliation and the strictness of laws for anti-Semitic reasons, and that they are discriminated against religiously, constitutionally and in other aspects. The writer is opposed to these phenomena. [9] pp, handwritten, 32.5 cm. Fair condition. Heavy, quality paper; a large, dark stain on all the leaves blurs the text. Tears at upper borders.
