Election Poster in Yiddish - Russia, Beginning of 20th Century

Tzum Alruslandishen Yiddishen Tzuzamenfehr. Election poster of a Zionist party. Printed by M. Pivoversky (׀œ. ׀Ÿ׀¸׀²׀¾׀²׀°ׁ€ׁ׀÷׀°׀³׀¾), [apparently, Petrograd], beginning of 20th century. At top, Yiddish writing, calling Russian Jews to vote for the Zionist party whose number is 6. A large impressive illustration of a pair of Jews and a woman holding a shield decorated with a Magen David waving a torch-like bouquet in her hand, looking in the direction of the sun shining on a field plowed by a farmer.
61x46 cm. Fair condition. Creases and stains. Coarse tears, some unprofessionally restored. Placed in frame 68.5x53.5 cm.
