Nineteen photographs by Peter Bergheim (1813-1895), Jerusalem and its surrounding, late 19th century.
Mount of Olives, Damascus Gate, Absalom's Pillar, Pool of Siloah, Kings Tombs, David's Tomb, The Moslem Quarter, Zacharia's Tomb, view of the Old City from Damascus Gate, Jaffa Gate, and other sites. All are signed on the plate except for two. All are mounted on cardboard with short handwritten annotations. Average size 24x19 cm, mounted on cardboard 43x35.5 cm. Good condition. Stains and minor damages to borders of cardboard.
