Letter about an Arrested Pioneer - Romania, 1939
Letter to the management of "Kehal Adat Israel" in Piteֵti, sent by Kalman Loewenkopf of Orֵova, November, 1939.
"Hilda Boladea sent today a parcel to the pioneer Yon Isaac who was arrested in your city and I ask you to deliver the parcel, if you do not know where he is, send the parcel back because the woman who sent it is poor." Following the Hebrew text is a text in Romanian. On the reverse appear postmarks and an ink stamp of the Orֵova Jewish community. 15x10.5 cm. Good condition. Filing- holes. Minor stains.
