Pesach Haggadah, HaShomer HaTzair Kibbutz Dalia, [1940].
Non-traditional Haggadah in large format, handwritten and copied by stencil, with illustrations. Passages from the traditional version together with “Safiach” by Rachel, “Al HaShchitah” by Bialik and two leaves with the history of the kibbutz which was established using the “tower and stockade” system: “Next to the towers, shacks were erected around the wall for use as shelters against the bullets of the enemy…” Statistics on agricultural crops. This was Kibbutz Dalia’s first Haggadah.
[28] leaves, 27.5 cm. Fair condition. Stains on the cover and on the pages. Numerous tears on the margins of the cover and on the spine.
