Two cut off glosses in ancient Ashkenazi handwriting. Handwritten signature:"Ya'akov Katzin" - apparently, the Kabbalist Rabbi Ya'akov Katzin (1900-1995, Otzar HaRabbanim 9901), sixth generation in the rabbinate of the Katzin Aram Tzova dynasty and son-in-law of the Ga'on Rabbi Shalom Hadaya. Founded and headed the Gan HaLevanon Yeshiva in Jerusalem. Major part of his life served as rabbi of the Halab congregation in New York. Authored many compositions in the revealed and concealed facets of Torah; among those printed: Or HaLevana, Pri Etz HaGan and others.
Compositions bound in reverse order and incomplete. Derech Chochma: 64 [missing 65-67] leaves. Kneh Chochma: 5-62 [missing 1-4] leaves [leaves 61-62 bound between leaves 56-57]. 29 cm. Good-fair condition, stains, moth stains, wear on leaf margins. Cut margins bordering text. Damaged binding.
