Three printed proclamations by Rabbi Yosef Chaim Shrim of Jerusalem (born in Aleppo, 1851 - passed away 1949),"The wandering emissary" - who served as rabbinical emissary for many years in the Diaspora countries.
1) Proclamation by rabbis and synagogues in Jerusalem, which authorizes that they have received Torah Scrolls from Rabbi Chaim Shrim which were sent from Baghdad and from Aleppo, and which should be placed in synagogues in Jerusalem. [Jerusalem, c. 1910].
2)"Remember G-D from afar and Jerusalem will be etched upon your hearts". Emissary letter in Hebrew and English from Chief Rabbi Rabbi Ya'akov Meir and from the Sephardic Congregation Committee,"To our brethren dispersed in India, Babylonia, Aram Naharayim (Iraq) and its surroundings. 3) Notice - Announcing a sermon in the Magen Avraham synagogue in Machaneh Yehudah (Jerusalem), condolence by Rabbi Shlomo Tzalach principal of Kerem HaYeladim school in Baghdad, for the elevation of the soul of Rabbanit Simcha wife of Rabbi Yosef Chaim Shrim. Jerusalem, 1935.
