Etrog Box - Germany
Etrog box. Germany (Posen?), second half of 19th century.
Box in the shape of an Etrog on an elliptic base, opening into two on a hinge. Silver marks on the lower part. German dedication engraved on it's base:
"Von Chebre Bikur Cholim, Zum Andenken" [souvenir from Bikur Cholim Society].
Height: 9 cm, maximal width: 14 cm. Very good condition.
