Memoir Notebook of the "Exodus" Illegal Immigrants Detention Camp
Memoir notebook belonging to a girl by the name of Ra'aya (?). Filled-in in various locations, late 1946, 1947. Hebrew, Polish and Russian.
Girlfriends of the owner entered dedications and various memoirs in the notebook. Several leaves were written while in Poppendorf Camp, a detention camp for illegal immigrants from the ship "Exodus" during October 1947, and some of the writers signed their entries "Exodus" or "Yetzi'at 1947". The contents were not thoroughly researched. [26]pp, 15cm. Fair-good condition. Fragile paper. Tears. Colorful decorations ("Prassim").
