A poster on behalf of the JWB, calling for support for recruited soldiers sent to war. New York, 1918.
"Civilians, when we go through this we need all the help and comfort you can give. The Jewish Welfare Board, United War Work Campaign – week of November II, 1918". The JWB was founded in April 1917, three days after the US declared war on Germany. The artist: Sidney H. Riesenberg (1885-1962). 55x83cm. Good-fair condition. Brittle paper. Creases, tears to creases, especially to lower part.
