A Collection of Letters to the Ivria Union – Jaffa, 1908

13 letters sent to the Ivria Union, after its removal from Berno to Jaffa, 1908.
Some of them are addressed to the educator Ben Zion Mosinson, a teacher in the Hebrew Gymnasium of Jaffa and one of the founders of the Hebrew Gymnasium Herzliya.
Several letters were sent from the Ivria Publishers in Odessa, others from Lvov, Stanislaw, the Vilna newspaper Hed HaZman and from Vidin (Bulgaria).
The aim of the union is printed at the head of some of the letters: "The aim of Ivria – the revival of the Hebrew language in the mouths of the Hebrew People". The letters deal with questions of financial support, accepting students, establishing branches, etc. Varied size and condition. Interesting documents from the beginning of Hebrew education in Jaffa.
