Mourning Days in Memory of Meir Dizengoff
General mourning for three days in Tel Aviv, in memory of the founder of the city and its president, Rabbi Meir Dizengoff. Municipal notice no. 20, Wednesday, 23.09.1936.
"Citizens of Tel Aviv are requested not to play music during the mourning days... All entertainment houses will by closed during these days, and no music will be played in coffee-houses". A large notice for hanging on a bulletin board, 94X62.5 cm. Good condition. Several stains. Folded. Slight tears at folding-lines.
