Meir Ariel – Original Manuscript of "Holech Batel"
Holech Batel, draft handwritten by Meir Ariel, [first half of 1970s]. "Holech Batel" is the fourth song in the album "Sof Onat HaTapuzim" (1976), the monumental, sole album by the Israeli rock band "Tamuz". The song had two melodies: one composed by Meir Ariel and the other by Ariel Zilber. This manuscript includes Meir Ariel's version and not the "Tamuz" one, with minor changes.
Meir Ariel added illustrations on the leaf and suggested chorus lines. On the reverse, under the title "Shtuyot" (Nonsense) appears a section of an additional song. Notebook leaf, 22.5cm, with handwriting on both sides. Good condition. Several stains at borders.
