Letter by the Toldot Aharon Rebbe – Invitation to his Son's Circumcision – 1955

Letter on postcard, handwritten and signed by R. Avraham Yitzchak Kahn, the Rebbe of Toldot Aharon. Jerusalem, [6 Tamuz, 1955].


Sent to his relatives in Safed, the Kalich family, on the occasion of the birth of one of his sons (on Shabbat, 5 Tamuz, 1955). Writing to his aunt Mrs. Rachel, he invites them to the circumcision, signing his name at the end.
After his signature, the Rebbe adds an invitation to his uncle R. Shmuel Kalich.


Rebbe Avraham Yitzchak Kahn, the Divrei Emunah (1914-1996), a disciple of Rebbe Yoel Teitelbaum of Satmar and leader of Toldot Aharon, a new Chassidic dynasty that became one of the dominant dynasties in Jerusalem.
