Mishnayot and Gemara - Vienna – Signed Glosses, Notations and Signatures

1. Mishnayot, including the commentary of Rabbi Ovadia of Bartenura and the Tosfot Yom Tov. Seder Taharot. Vienna, 1793. Title page with illustration of “Rabeinu HaKadosh[!]”.
2. Babylonian Talmud, tractates Zvachim and Menachot. Vienna, [1796]. Title page with illustration.
Both volumes consist of erudite glosses, signed “N.B.CH.”, apparently, Rabbi Naftali Kahn, signed in the Mishnayot volume.
Signatures and various notations in the volume of the Mishnayot: “G-D endowed me with this, Naftali Kahn”, “Yishaya Kahn son of Rabbi N. from Hermannstadt“, “Yishaya Rata”. Interesting notation: “… since I am a foreigner from another country I am writing my name as a remembrance that I have taught in this village by the Torah scholar Rabbi Shlomo Zalman in the summer of 1834. May G-D help me that I quickly return to my country… the country of Poland ruled by King Yohn… Stashov, from the city of Torah scholars and righteous people. I would certainly not have come here if not for the decree that I cannot remain in my country… Leibish Michel”.
Upon title page of Gemara: Signature of Rabbi “Meir Pearls”.
