Batei Kenesiyot / Mateh Ephraim / Gemara – Three Books with Glosses and Signatures

1. Batei Kenesiyot, Volume One, on the Shulchan Aruch Orach Chayim. (With the Beit Ha-Asufim on the Rashi and the Re’em on the Torah commentaries). Rabbi Avraham Ebn Ezra [of the Izmir sages, 1690-1761]. Salonika, [1806]. (Moth damages). There is a signed auto-dedication on leaf 2 by Rabbi “Rafael Wazana” from Izmir. Several glosses and insights in Oriental handwriting.
2. Mateh Ephraim, on Maimonides and commentaries, by Rabbi Ephraim Ardit. [Salonika, 1791]. Missing title page and first leaves, additional leaves are damaged or missing. Glosses by several writers in Oriental handwriting, one of them is signed as “Ha A.I.N” and the other as “Ha-Mevi"n”.
3. Masechet Berachot Ve-Seder Zera’im, Berlin and Frankfurt an der Oder edition, 1734. (First and last leaves are damaged, with text omission). Various signatures. A scholarly gloss on the Teruma tractate, in Oriental handwriting contemporary to the time of print, signed by “the young Ha"Si”.
