Tiv Gittin VeKiddushin, novellae on the Talmud and responsa, by R. Chaim Yosef Gottlieb Rabbi of Stropkov. Ungvar (Uzzhorod): C. Jager's Wittwe, 1868. First edition.


The author, R. Chaim Yosef Gottlieb (ca. 1790-1867), prominent disciple of the Chatam Sofer and of the Chassidic leaders of his time: R. Yitzchak Eizik of Kaliv, R. Naftali of Ropshitz and the Divrei Chaim of Sanz. Rabbi of Tertzal (Tarcal), and later of Stropkov for over 25 years. Renowned as a wonder-worker.


Important ownership: on the title page, ownership inscription handwritten and signed by R. Yosef Asher HaLevi Pollack, rabbi and dean of Verpelét (1898-1944), prominent young yeshiva dean in Hungary. Great-nephew of R. Moshe HaLevi Pollack, dean of the Bonyhád yeshiva.
On the final page, signature of Moshe HaLevi Pollack, presumably a relative of R. Moshe HaLevi Pollack Rabbi and dean of Bonyhád (1845-1889).
Stamp of Rebbe Yoel Teitelbaum (Meyer) of Királyháza (1913-1986), son of Rebbe Chanoch Henich of Sassov and nephew of Rebbe Yoel Teitelbaum of Satmar. Son-in-law of R. Yosef Lewy, whom he succeeded as rabbi of Királyháza. After the Holocaust, he served as rabbi in Satmar, and later in New York. Brother of Rebbe Chananya Yom Tov Lipa Meyer-Teitelbaum of Sassov (founder of Kiryat Yismach Moshe).
