Letter from Rebbe Shlomo Halberstam of Bobov – Blessings for Good Health "Great Success in All Your Endeavors" and Satisfaction from His Offspring

Letter signed by Rebbe Shlomo Halberstam (the Second) of Bobov. Brooklyn, NY, "Thursday 35th day of the Omer". [Year noted on verso in a different hand: 1987].
Written by a scribe on official stationery, with the rebbe's signature.
Addressed to a philanthropist, in response to his kvittel and donation. The rebbe blesses him with life, peace and good health, "great success in all his endeavors, and much joy and satisfaction from his offspring".


Rebbe Shlomo Halberstam (the second) of Bobov (1907-2000), a prominent rebbe in recent times. Son of Rebbe Benzion Halberstam, the Kedushat Tzion. After miraculously surviving the Holocaust, he reached the United States where he re-established the Bobov Chassidut, founding communities, yeshivot and Torah institutions in the United States and worldwide.
