The present lot includes two rare parts, and an additional booklet, not listed by the bibliographers who listed the various editions of Schulchan Aruch HaRav: Orach Chaim – Part I, Mondshine and the Bibliography of the Hebrew Book state: "We have seen on the title page" (this part is not listed in the NLI catalogue as well); Orach Chaim – Part II (Hilchot Shabbat) is not listed by Mondshine and the Bibliography of the Hebrew Book (but does appear in the NLI catalogue); at head of part III appear [14] leaves of "Kuntres Acharon", who are not listed by Mondshine and the Bibliography of the Hebrew Book, nor do they appear in the copies held at the NLI.
Foreword and approbations in vol. I by the author's sons – Rabbi Dov Ber, the Mitteler Rebbe of Lubavitch, and Rabbi Chaim Avraham.
