The author, Rebbe Yehuda Tzvi Eichenstein (1791-1847) was a prominent rebbe of the Zidichov dynasty. The book was published by Rebbe Yechezkel Shraga Halberstam of Shinova, son-in-law of the author.
Stamps. Inscriptions and signatures on the front endpaper. Inscriptions of names to pray for recovery on back endpaper, and inscription recording the passing of a prominent Torah scholar R. Yitzchak Eizik on Friday, 10th Shevat 1860.
