Ten illustrated postcards; nine postcards depicting various Jewish customs, and one postcard with an antisemitic illustration. Various publishers and places of publication. Ca. early 20th century.
1-9. Nine postcards (including three "Shanah Tova" postcards) with illustrations of Jewish customs – wedding, circumcision, the holiday of Purim etc. – and inscriptions in various languages. Five of the postcards were published by SMP (Kraków), and two were published by Solomon Brothers (London.)
10. "School in a Polish Village" (Iskola lengyel faluban), antisemitic Hungarian postcard, with an illustration depicting Jewish students as animals with tails. Published by E.S.W. (mailed in 1902.)
Four postcards have undivided backs.
10 postcards, approx. 14X9 cm. Condition varies. Stains. Some creases. Marginal blemishes. Four of the postcards were mailed.
