Fourteen "Shanah Tovah" Postcards – Germany and Poland
Fourteen "Shanah Tovah" greeting cards. Printed in Germany, some for "Tsentral" publishing house, Warsaw, and some for the American Jewish market, [early decades of the 20th century].
Most postcards depict scenes from Jewish life, with some featuring rhymed Yiddish greetings; others are decorated with romantic images of children, birds and flowers. All postcards are printed with "A Happy New Year" greetings in Hebrew, English and German.
14X9 cm. Good condition. Minor blemishes. One duplicate postcard. Some of the postcards were used.
