Lithographic poster celebrating Joseph Vissarionovich Stalin's 70th birthday, issued by the Israeli Communist Party. Featuring Stalin's portrait at center, over the inscription "70 Years, 21.XII.1949" (Hebrew); at left, the Soviet Union flag flies, alongside a blue-and-white flag, with a white dove – presumably after a lithograph titled "La Colombe" (The Dove) created by Pablo Picaso that same year, which served as the logo of the 1949 Conference for World Peace.
Approx. 50X70 cm; framed. Fair-good condition. Fold lines. Tears to edges and fold lines, including open tears, restored. Unexamined out of frame.
