Letter of Blessing and Guidance from the Lubavitcher Rebbe – 1959 – Congratulations Upon the Birth of a Daughter

Letter from Rebbe Menachem Mendel Schneeresohn – the Lubavitcher Rebbe, with his signature. Brooklyn NY, 27th Sivan 1959.
Typewritten on the official stationery of the rebbe, with his signature.


Addressed to R. Moshe Acker in Brooklyn, upon the birth of his daughter: "May you raise her together with your wife to a life of Torah, marriage and good deeds, in prosperity".
Further in the letter, the rebbe mentions the Chabad custom, in the name of Rebbe Rashab: "To wish upon the birth of a girl as well - to a life of Torah, marriage and good deeds", and concludes with Mazal Tov wishes.
At the foot of the letter, the rebbe adds some guidance: "He is surely aware of the three daily study portions… Chumash, Tehillim and Tanya every day and adheres to them, he should continue keeping to them in the future as well".
