Collection of handwritten leaves. Persia, 19th and 20th centuries.
* Halachic rulings and responsa, by Persian rabbis and sages (some leaves carry the titles: "The person with the query stood before Abba Shaul and asked him", or "The person with the query stood and presented his question before the Av Beit Din Abba Yehoyada"). * Halachic queries written in Persia with responses handwritten by Rabbi Yitzchak Ezra, an emissary from Hebron, Rabbi Avraham ben Atar of Tiberias and Rabbi Moshe Amar "Emissary of the Rashbi Kollel from Safed".
* Dozens of Gittin, Shtarot Shelichut and divorce permits, written in Persian communities: Golpayegan, Hamedan, Sanandaj, Isfahan, Kashan and Nahavand, from 1845-1930. Some are signed by the community Dayanim and Torah scholars. Some of the Gittin papers have a tear performed by the Beit Din called a "Kera Beit Din" [as a sign that the Get was delivered according to Jewish law].
* Ketubah. Farrah'abad, 1924. * Marriage Ketuba. Damavand (torn; parts missing). * A document in Judeo-Persian (Ketubah?) on fabric, with signatures.
