Sefer Maginei Eretz, Shulchan Aruch Orach Chaim, with Magen Avraham, Turei Zahav, Pri Chadash and Even Ha’Ozer. Amsterdam, (1754).
Many ownership notations: “Abush son of… Shimshon HaKohen”; “Zekel”; “belongs to my father and mentor Rabbi Zev Wolf… Av Beit Din [old?]”; “belongs to Meir son of Rabbi G… Ya’akov”; “Avraham son of Rabbi Leib of Ravitch”; additional signatures, ownership stamps and various notations.
Many erudite glosses in Ashkenazi handwriting from 18th-19th century. Queries and resolutions: “I did not merit to comprehend”; “this law needs further study”. Throughout the glosses he presents sayings which he heard from others: “One Torah giant told me to resolve” (leaf 72/1); “I heard something alluding to this law” (leaf 65/2).
