At the foot of the title page of part I, signature of R. Moshe Natan Nata, son of the author (to authorize that the book is not stolen). Dedication at the top of the leaf. Various inscriptions, signatures and stamps.
The author, R. Asher Anshel HaLevi Jungreis (1806-1873), kabbalist, disciple of R. Meir Eisenstadt of Ungvar. Served as rabbi of Csenger for forty years. Renowned as a wonder-worker, especially in healing the sick. Held in high esteem by Chassidic leaders.
His son, R. Moshe Natan Nata HaLevi Jungreis (1832-1889), was a prominent Hungarian rabbi, rabbi of Tiszafüred. Just like his father, he was renowned as a wonder-worker whose blessings were fulfilled.
Incomplete copy – [5], 93 leaves (originally: [12], 93 leaves. Lacking leaves of foreword and words by R. Shmuel Ze'ev Jungreis, author's son). 37 cm. Fair condition. Stains, wear and tears. First and final leaves with dampstains, extensive wear and marginal open tears. Stamps and inscriptions. New leather binding.
