Signed dedication by the author to his brother in law on the title page (cut dedication written with a pencil).
The Gaon Rabbi Shaul Brach, Rabbi of Kosice (1865-1940), of the Chatam Sofer’s disciples and leading rabbis of his generation. Filled the rabbinical office of Mogendorff, between 1910-1923 served as rabbi of Krali until he became Rabbi of Kosice (he was replaced by Rabbi Yoel of Satmar). Throughout his years as rabbi, he also headed a Yeshiva and many of the Hungarian rabbis were his disciples. He authored many books on all Torah subjects. The biographical book “Shaul Bechir Hashem” was published about him.
