On binding leaf handwritten novella and on book leaves dozens of scholarly glosses, in the handwriting of Rabbi Yeshaya Natan Freilich.
Rabbi Yeshaya Natan Freilich, a disciple of Rabbi Moshe Greenwald, author of Arugot HaBosem Rabbi of Chust. He was renowned as an expert shochet and bodek in several Hungarian communities. Afterward, he received semicha for hora'ah by several great Torah leaders: Rabbi of Arugat HaBosem, Rabbi Mordechai Winkler Rabbi of Mad, Rabbi Yeshaya Silberstein Rabbi of Waitzen (Vac) and other rabbis. He served as Posek and Shochet and Bodek in Szabadka. With much talent, he edited the book Sha'arei Dura according to nine printed books, some rare, and another 70 manuscripts that he collected with great effort. His glosses on Sha'arei Dura are called Sha'arei Bina. He was murdered al Kiddush Hashem in the Holocaust.
