Simon Wiesenthal / Elie Wiesel – Collection of Signed Items

Collection of items signed by the architect, Holocaust survivor, Simon Wiesenthal (1908-2005), known as "the Nazi hunter"; and a collection of items signed by the writer and intellectual, Holocaust survivor, Elie Wiesel (1928-2016), who was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his "practical work in the cause of peace".
1. A typewritten letter from Wiesenthal, in which he shares with the addressee his opinion about chemical-biological weapons; signed by Wiesenthal in English (1990).
2. An issue of Response, the journal of the Shimon Wiesenthal Center in Los Angeles (vol. 20, issue 1, Winter/Spring 1999), with Wiesenthal's picture on the cover. Signed by Wiesenthal.
3. An issue of Response (vol. 15, issue 5, Spring 1994). Signed by Wiesenthal on the back cover, on a page dedicated to Steven Spielberg's winning the Academy Award for his movie "Schindler's List".
4. Eli Wiesel's visitinf card, with a short dedication and signature (English).
5. A short, printed letter, in English, signed by Eli Wiesel (1986).
6-7. Two letters handwritten by Eli Wiesel, in Hebrew (1986 and 1995).
Size and condition vary. Good to very good overall condition. The original envelopes are enclosed.
