The Jewish settlements in the Land of Israel, a postcards booklets published by Ya'akov Ben-Dov, Jerusalem.
photographs of Hebrew settlements, including: Rishon Letzion, Degania, Tel-Aviv, Haifa, Ben Shemen, Ekron etc. The title page of the booklet is designed by Ze'ev Raban. [18] Postcards (originally holds 20 postcards, postcard no. 1 and 16 are missing). Good condition. Foxing.

A dozen postcards printed by "Levanon". Warsaw and Russia, early 20th century and the 1910s. Portraying different sites in Eretz Israel: Ramla, Rosh Pinah, Tel-Aviv, the Dead Sea, "Bezalel" on Lug BaOmer (photographer: Ya'akov Ben-Dov), Jaffar gate, Zion Gate, Rishon LeZion (after a photograph by Yesha'ayahu Raphaelovitch), Girls' school in Jaffa, view of Jerusalem, Herzl's Cedar, Joseph Hazanovitch on the background of the building which functioned as the National Library. In general good condition, varies.

(corner missing in one postcard). * Yemenite workers in "Bezalel". *"Guards" (members of "HaShomer"). * "Annual celebration in Rehovot – gymnastics". * "Children in Rehovot carry grapes". * "Guard between the grapevines". * "Shepherd in Ben-Shemen". Condition varies. Three postcards were sent by mail. Several bear interesting postage ink stamps.

Five postcards featuring photographs and illustrations of Jaffa. Late 19th century, early 20th century. One postcard – a souvenir of the Emperor's visit in 1898. Three postcards are undivided. All postcards, except for one, were mailed. Condition varies, good.

A dozen undivided postcards, late 19th century and early 20th century.
Souvenir postcards from Palestine, Jerusalem, Haifa and Ramla. "Birkat Zion ve-Shalom al Israel" postcard in colorful lithographic printing ink-stamped Howards Hotel Jerusalem (later known as Fast Hotel), a real-photo card where Turkish soldiers are seen after executing three people near Jaffa Gate. Size varies, good condition. All of the postcards are undivided except for the real-photo one. Six were not in use.

97 Double Postcard – The Jewish Legion – Egypt, 1917 6. Postcards

Double postcard (two connected postcards), with a portrait of Theodor Herzl and a map of Eretz Israel. Cairo: "Mashiach" by M. Eini, 1917.
"Dedicated to the Jewish Legion". On the reverse appears the slogan of the Jewish Legion "For our People and our Country" with an illustration of a lion, Magen David and a Menorah and the writing "Beyt Hatzava HaIvri" designed by M. Eini. 18.5X14 cm. Good condition. Stains. Was not in use.

Eighty postcards with professional photographs by American Colony photographers, Elijah Meyers and Frederick Vester, Eric Matson and Lars Lewis Larsson.
A diverse and interesting collection of photographs from Jerusalem and from all over the country during the first decades of the 20th century. Some of the postcards were printed by different printers in Israel or in Germany; several postcards appear twice. General condition is good.

Center of postcard contains two photographs of gathering near destroyed structures in Jewish Quarter of Nový Bydžov, which was burned. Undivided. Posted in 1901. Postmarked, handwritten notations. Good condition. Stains and minor tears.

Drawing "The work situation of the Zionist Association in Stolin" and an acrostic poem (real-photo postcard, photo-montage).* The theatre group in Iwhe, Poland (a real-photo postcard, on the reverse- members' signatures). * Zionist youth group in S[b]iri" (real-photo postcard). General condition – good.

Souvenir postcard from Ansbach, "Gruss aus Ansbach". Illustrations of the synagogue's front, the yard, and a New Year greeting. [1910s].
It seems that the postcard was stenciled and not printed in numerous copies. On the reverse: Königreich Bayern Postkarte – postcard of the Bavarian Kingdom. Fair-good condition. Stains, wear and creases.

A souvenir postcard of "the fourth convention and meeting about Judaism", Livorno, November 2-4, 1924. Bilforti printing press.
On the front appears a remarkable illustration of a roaring lion and a palm tree. On the reverse: " IV Convegno Giovanile E Congresso Culturale Ebraico". Good condition. Several stains.

Letné Tábory Odboru Mládeže I. [summer camps, youth department].
Postcard with an illustration of a youth movement member in a summer camp. Sent from Slovakia in June 1939, three months after the German Nazi conquest of Slovakia and shortly prior to the discontinuation of Jewish youth movements activities. A handwritten inscription appears on the card "Be Strong and Brave". Restored filing-holes.
